These DIY Trophy Truck Rear Pivot Boxes are designed to be universal in that you can mount them in a variety of different chassis applications. From an all tube floor to the boxed floors also available here on DIY these rear pivot boxes will locate both the lower and upper link arms for your rear suspension. The upper link has three mounting points for adjustment and the ability to work with several different rear end housing tab setups.

The mounts are designed for 3.06 width spacers, ¾” bolt for the bottom and 5/8” top.

Do these pivot boxes only work with a tube floor or can I run them on a boxed floor chassis too?

They're designed to be universal, so you can mount them in a bunch of different setups, from an all-tube floor to the boxed floors we've also got here on DIY. They'll locate both your lower and upper link arms either way.

What bolt and spacer sizes do these mounts use for the link arms?

They're set up for 3.06 width spacers, with a 3/4" bolt on the bottom and 5/8" on top. The Kartek part numbers are KTK10034WSS for the lower and PRMHMA10058TR for the upper if you want to match them up.

Are these flat plates I just cut, or do they need bending after I run them on my plasma table?

You're buying the DXF cut files so you can have the plates cut on a CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, and these do need to be press bent after cutting. If you need a shop to cut or bend them, shoot us an email and we'll point you to someone.

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
