4" Tube Fabricated Housing Center Section from JEHC
This is a 4" Fabricated Housing center section, Designed by JEHC, this housing is for larger race style vehicles from a Trophy Truck on down. You can build these housing from mild steel or 4130 Chromoly, MIG or TIG welded, depending on your preference. To complete the housing we suggest the addition of a backing truss and link mounts, also available on this site. This housing is designed to be Pinion Centered on the center section, the housing tubes will be unequal length. Features a 2" hole pre-cut for the filler and capacity for 10" ring gear sets, the third member utilizes ARP press in studs (3/8").

Frequently Asked Questions
You can run these in either mild steel or 4130 chromoly depending on your preference and how you plan to weld it up — MIG for mild, TIG if you go chromoly. It's designed for larger race vehicles from Trophy Truck on down, so build it to match your application.
The center section is just part of it — we recommend adding a backing truss and link mounts to complete the housing, and both are available here on the site. The DXF includes a pre-cut 2" filler hole and is set up for 10" ring gear sets with ARP 3/8" press-in studs for the third member.
These are cut files you'll have cut on a CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, and then some plates need to be bent/pressed to finish the center section. Just note it's pinion-centered, so your housing tubes will end up unequal length once it's built.

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
