Frequently Asked Questions

Do these pivot boxes work with a tube floor or do I need the boxed floor setup?

Both — they're designed to be universal so you can run them on an all tube floor or the boxed floors we also carry here on DIY. They'll locate the lower and upper link arms either way.

Does this include the fixture files or just the box plates?

Yep, the fixture cutting files are included along with the pivot box plates. You'll get everything as DXFs to run on your plasma, laser, or waterjet and then press the bends.

Can the upper link mounting work with different rear end housing tab setups?

It can — the upper link has three mounting points for adjustment so it'll work with several different rear end housing tab setups. That gives you some room to dial it in for your build.

How do I get the T5 Rear Pivot Boxes for TT/6100/Luxury Prerunner (Short) after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the T5 Rear Pivot Boxes for TT/6100/Luxury Prerunner (Short) cost?

The T5 Rear Pivot Boxes for TT/6100/Luxury Prerunner (Short) is $120.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
