These lower link arm are traditional Trophy Truck style with a 2" main tube as the base structure and wrapped with a series of 4130 Chromoly platework. These arms are designed to ONLY be cut from 4130 and TIG welded, some have MIG welded them but we do NOT suggest cutting these links from mild steel. For a serious race truck these are the links you want.

Fixtures are included for this that bolt to the JEHC 84" fixture table.

What material do I need to cut these links from?

These are designed to ONLY be cut from 4130 chromoly and TIG welded. We've seen guys MIG them, but we don't suggest it, and we definitely don't recommend cutting these from mild steel for a serious race truck.

Do the files include the fixtures to build these, or just the arm plates?

The fixtures are included with this, and they're set up to bolt to the JEHC 84" fixture table. You'll get the cut files for the link plates plus that fixturing so you can build them straight.

Are these something a first-timer can run on a plasma table and weld up?

Honestly, no — these are rated expert level. Between the 2" main tube wrapped in 4130 platework and the TIG welding required, this is a build for someone who's done serious chassis work before.

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
