Frequently Asked Questions

Will these radius rod plates fit my XP1000 if it's an older or newer year than 14-16?

These files are designed for the 14-16 XP1000. If you're running a different year, shoot us an email and we'll check whether another file lines up with your machine before you buy.

Do I get DXF files I can just run on my plasma table, or do these need bending too?

You're getting the DXF cut files (or CAD/solid files) so you can have them cut on a plasma, laser, or waterjet. This is a box-style radius arm setup, so a few of the plates do get press bent during assembly before you weld it all up.

Does this weld into the rear of the RZR or is it a bolt-on?

It's a weld-in box that adds support for the rear radius rods, which is why it's one of the first upgrades guys do to these RZRs. If you don't have a way to cut or bend the parts, email us and we'll point you to a shop that can run them for you.

How do I get the 14-16 XP1000 Radius Rod Plate Style 3 after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 14-16 XP1000 Radius Rod Plate Style 3 cost?

The 14-16 XP1000 Radius Rod Plate Style 3 is $100.00.

Where can I get cut files for UTV?

DIY Off Road has downloadable DXF cut files for UTV plus a ton of other off-road and race fabrication parts, all drawn up by real fab shops. Browse the UTV category, or shoot us an email and we will point you to the right files for your build.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
