Frequently Asked Questions

Will these radius rod plates fit my XP1000 if it's a different year than 14-16?

These files are designed for the 14-16 XP1000 specifically. If you've got a different year, shoot us an email and we'll see if another file works for your build.

Do these need to be bent or do they weld in flat?

This is a radius arm box, so the plates get cut on a plasma, laser, or waterjet and then bent on a press before assembly. Once they're bent you weld them into the rear to support your radius rods.

What exactly do I get when I buy this, an actual part or just the files?

You're buying the digital DXF cut files (or CAD/solid files) for the radius rod plates, not a physical part. Run them on your own table or have a shop cut and bend them for you — email us if you want a recommendation on a shop.

How do I get the 14-16 XP1000 Radius Rod Plate Style 1 after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 14-16 XP1000 Radius Rod Plate Style 1 cost?

The 14-16 XP1000 Radius Rod Plate Style 1 is $100.00.

Where can I get cut files for UTV?

DIY Off Road has downloadable DXF cut files for UTV plus a ton of other off-road and race fabrication parts, all drawn up by real fab shops. Browse the UTV category, or shoot us an email and we will point you to the right files for your build.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
