Frequently Asked Questions

What size axle tube do these mount files fit, and will they work on my 3.5" housing?

These are cut to fit a 3.0" tube, so they're designed to wrap a 3.0" housing. If you're running a 3.5" tube, shoot us an email and we'll see if there's another file that matches your build.

What thickness steel should I cut these from to weld onto my rear housing?

The DXF doesn't lock you into a thickness, so you can run them on your plasma, laser, or waterjet from whatever plate your link load calls out. If you want a recommendation for your setup, email us and we can point you in the right direction or connect you with the designer.

Do these come ready to weld flat, or do they need to be bent at that 20 degrees?

These plates get bent on a press as part of the build — that's where the 20 deg angle comes in — so they're not flat weld-ins. If you don't have a press, email us for a shop recommendation to cut and bend them for you.

How do I get the 3.0" Tube 8" Height Upper Link Mount "Angled" (20 deg) after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 3.0" Tube 8" Height Upper Link Mount "Angled" (20 deg) cost?

The 3.0" Tube 8" Height Upper Link Mount "Angled" (20 deg) is $9.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
