Frequently Asked Questions

Are these lower arm files just for the 2WD Silverado, or will they work on the 4x4 too?

These are confirmed for the 99-06 Silverado 1500 GMT800 2WD as part of the DBF long travel kit. We don't have these listed for the 4x4, so shoot us an email and we'll see if another file works for your build.

Do I need to press any bends on these or are they all flat plate I can run on my plasma table?

These are the Plasma Table Friendly version, so they're designed with no or minimal bends and mostly flat plate to keep cutting and assembly easy. Just make sure you follow the WPO steps so the arm keeps its strength once welded up.

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
