Frequently Asked Questions

Will these gussets fit the 4x4 Silverado, or just the 2WD?

These files are designed for the 99-06 GMT800 1500 Silverado 2x4 specifically. If you're running a 4x4, shoot us an email and we'll see if we have a file that works for your build.

Do these need to be bent, or can I just run them flat on my plasma table?

These are all flat plate, no bends — that's the whole point of the Plasma Table Friendly design. Just cut them on your plasma table and weld them into the chassis after you prep the frame. Make sure you follow the WPO so you keep the strength.

Do these weld in or bolt on, and is there anything else I need to run them?

They weld into the chassis at the pivots after you prep the frame — no bolting required. The pack is set up around the stock bolt hole sizes (5/8" front lower arm, 1/2" front upper, 18mm front spring, 9/16" rear spring/shackle), so just have them cut from steel and weld them in.

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
