Frequently Asked Questions

What thickness steel should I cut these front mounts from?

The DXF is just the cut profile, so you pick the plate thickness that suits your link setup and material. If you want a recommendation for your build, shoot us an email and we can point you the right way.

Do these mounts need to be bent or do they weld in flat?

These are designed to be cut and then bent (press), so you'll want access to a press brake after you run them on your plasma, laser, or waterjet. Once formed they weld onto your housing at the 20 degree front orientation.

Will these work for a 4.0" tube or do I need a different size file?

Yep, this file is set up for 4.0" tube on the front lower link housing. If you're running a different tube size, email us and we'll see if another file works for your build.

How do I get the 4.0" Tube "Front Mount" (20 deg) after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 4.0" Tube "Front Mount" (20 deg) cost?

The 4.0" Tube "Front Mount" (20 deg) is $9.00.

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
