Frequently Asked Questions

What size tube are these coped to fit, and how thick should I cut the plates?

These are coped to mount to 2" round tube, and the plates and overlays are designed to be cut from 3/16" material. They're PTF (plasma table friendly) with no bends, so you can run them flat on your table.

Are these set up for a 1.25" rod end, and what hole size do they come with?

Yep, these are 1.25" rod end horizontal triangulated link mounts and the files come with a 9/16" hole. If you need a different hole size for your build, shoot us an email and we'll see what we can do.

Do these need to be bent or are they all flat plate I can just weld in?

All flat plate, no bends on these — that's what PTF means. Just have them cut on your plasma, laser, or waterjet, then follow the WPO when you assemble and weld them in so you keep the strength right.

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
