Designed to be plasma table friendly this AWD front end is setup for ease in fabrication and designed to complement MIG welded mild/4130 material components. Some do TIG weld these setups but they are MIG weld friendly. This front end can be used on a variety of applications form truck builds to AWD buggy builds (ultra 4 style). They graft onto your existing platform or you can start a new project with this front end.

The cutfile pack includes the following: Lower arms, Upper arms, Uprights, Center section (mounting points for everything), and the rack adapter for the PSS rack.

Details

Differential – Designed for the Spidertrax Narrow center section that utilizes the Gearworks narrow third member.

Upright / Hubs – Designed for the Spidertrax Pro series Builder bells and hub assemblies.

Trackwidth/Wheel Mount Surface – Fullsize is setup for roughly 92.5” Trackwidth/81” WMS width on the wheel mount surface utilizing a 6” offset wheel (High offset). Midsize is setup for 88.5” Trackwidth/77” WMS width. Unique or custom Offsets are available upon request.

Steering – Designed for the Power Steering Solutions 2.75” rack or a HOWE 113 Rack.

Shock Package – Designed for up to 14” stroke shocks and will fit large diameter shocks, 3.0/4.5 packages. Wheel travel will depend on the shock package and tire size/ where you set the front end up with compression.

Rake – We have several options for setups with RAKE, from 0 degree to 6 degrees of rake. Unique or custom options are available.  

***This product is a Digital Asset. You are purchasing the cutting files (DXF) or Solid (CAD) files for this component so that you can have these plates cut and bent (press) from a CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet machine.***

PTF (Plasma Table Friendly) - This means that the component is designed with little to no bends, mostly or all flat plate. This makes the cutting and assembly very easy for anyone with a plasma table. Specific steps are required (follow the WPO) to ensure the strength is kept with this component.

Does this front end pack include the arms and uprights or just the center section?

It's the whole setup — lower arms, upper arms, uprights, the center section with all the mounting points, plus the rack adapter for the PSS rack. You get the full bulkhead cut file pack, not just one piece.

Can I MIG weld these together or do they have to be TIG'd?

These are designed MIG weld friendly to work with mild or 4130 components, so you're good running a MIG. Some guys do TIG these setups, but it's not required.

Will these files run on my plasma table for an ultra4 style buggy build?

Yep, they're designed to be plasma table friendly and work on a variety of builds from trucks to AWD ultra4 style buggies. You can graft this front end onto your existing platform or start a fresh project with it.
