These Fabricated tube bumper frame horns are the perfect start to a pre-runner bumper. Simply weld up the frame horns then trim the factory frame back to where you want to locate the bumper (using the main 2" tube location as reference) then build the bumper from there. Typically, you bend up a 2" tube for the starting point of the bumper that indexes into the fabricated frame horns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these frame horns universal or do I need to match them to a specific truck?

These are designed universal, so they're a starting point for just about any prerunner bumper build. You trim your factory frame back to where you want the bumper and index off the main 2" tube location to set everything up.

What size tube do these index into for building the bumper off of?

They're built around a 2" tube as the main location reference. Typically you bend up a 2" tube as the starting point for the bumper and it indexes right into these fabricated horns.

Are these flat DXF files I run on my plasma table and then weld up myself?

Yep, these are downloadable DXF cut files you can run on your plasma, laser, or waterjet, then weld up into the frame horns. After that you trim your frame and build the bumper from there — if you need a shop to cut or bend, email us for a recommendation.

How do I get the Universal Tube BUMBER FRAME HORN 48DEG after I buy it?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
