Cut two of these for our UTVs. Good geometry, quick release works smooth. Knocked one star only because I wish it came with a thicker strap option, but solid overall.

The classic fabricated fire extinguisher mount, these have flooded the off-road industry ever since they arrived at laser houses over ten years ago. They are very easy to build (weld) and provide race proven strength for mounting a variety of fire extinguishers. Some simple laser cut plates combined with a few mcmaster.com components and you have yourself a legit mount. Weld them onto a chassis or bolt them, either way they are race proven!

Can I weld these onto my chassis or do they have to bolt on?
Either way works, these are race proven welded or bolted. Run them however fits your build best.
Are these flat plates or do I need to bend any of them after cutting?
Some of the plates need a bend, so you'll want a press handy to form them once they're cut. You can run the DXF on a plasma, laser, or waterjet and then press the bends in.

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.

Been looking for a clean quick-release mount that doesn't rattle. This is it. Bottle stays put, comes out instant. Mounted it to the harness bar no problem.

Solid design and the release mechanism is legit. Had to bend the strap a hair for my slightly fatter 2.5lb bottle but that's on me, not the file. Holds great now.

Ran it on the table and the cut quality was spot on — no slag, dimensions dead accurate to my extinguisher. Tacked and welded in about 20 minutes. Would buy again for customer builds.

Welded this into my prerunner cage and the quick release holds the bottle tight even over washboard. Pops out fast with gloves on when you need it. Laser cut edges were clean, barely any cleanup before welding.
