Details

This H-Frame is the I-Beam version of a “Center mount Y-Frame” that can be used to build a new tube chassis platform.

The Stage 1 H-Frame is the perfect starting point for your next tube chassis project. From race trucks to luxury pre-runners the JEHC Platforms are designed to be fabrication friendly, taking the guess work out of complex suspension setup and geometry. All the Stage 1 components are designed to be plasma table friendly, meaning they can be cut on a plasma table, and they feature little to no bending/forming at all.

Stage 1 refers to the style of the components in this assembly, everything in this H-Frame Package can be cut from Mild Steel and MIG welded. Some clients cut them from 4130 Chromoly and TIG weld them, but Stage 1 Components are designed to complement MIG welding.

***This product is a Digital Asset. You are purchasing the cutting files (DXF) or Solid (CAD) files for this component so that you can have these plates cut and bent (press) from a CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet machine.***

PTF (Plasma Table Friendly) - This means that the component is designed with little to no bends, mostly or all flat plate. This makes the cutting and assembly very easy for anyone with a plasma table. Specific steps are required (follow the WPO) to ensure the strength is kept with this component.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cut this whole H-frame on my plasma table, or does some of it need bending?

Yeah, all the Stage 1 components are plasma table friendly, so they're mostly or all flat plate with little to no bending. Just make sure you follow the WPO steps so you keep the strength when you assemble it.

Can I run these from mild steel and MIG weld them, or do they have to be 4130?

Stage 1 is designed to be cut from mild steel and MIG welded, that's what it's built around. Some guys do cut them from 4130 chromoly and TIG weld instead, but the Stage 1 stuff is meant to complement MIG.

What all comes in this package, and can I get it set up for my specific wheelbase and track width?

You get the full front I-Beam bulkhead, rear pivot boxes, floor connection, rear link arms, and a matching housing. It's available in 88+ or 91+ track width, built to your wheelbase, with different link lengths and a 3.5 or 4" rear end housing — email us if you need other options.

How do I get the I Beam "H" Frame Assembly (Stage 1) after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the I Beam "H" Frame Assembly (Stage 1) cost?

The I Beam "H" Frame Assembly (Stage 1) is $2,200.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
