Frequently Asked Questions

Is this sized for a 4.0" axle tube or will it fit my smaller housing too?

These files are cut for a 4.0" tube diameter, so the saddle matches that OD. If you're running a different tube size, shoot us an email and we'll see if we've got a file that fits your housing.

Do these need to be bent or do they weld in flat off the table?

There's a press bend involved on these plates, so after you run the DXF on your plasma, laser, or waterjet you'll need to bend them before welding to the housing tube. If you don't have a press, email us for a shop recommendation to get them cut and bent.

What exactly do I get when I buy this, an actual mount or just the files?

This is a digital download, so you're getting the DXF cutting files for the mount plates, not a physical part. Take them to a CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, have them cut, bend them, and weld the assembly into your build.

How do I get the 4.0" Tube 5" Height Upper Link Mount "Straight" (0 deg) after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 4.0" Tube 5" Height Upper Link Mount "Straight" (0 deg) cost?

The 4.0" Tube 5" Height Upper Link Mount "Straight" (0 deg) is $9.00.

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
