These plates are designed for use in fabricating roll cages in various project vehicles, ideally you cut them from .25” thick material and use 5/8” bolts for the mounting plates. The ideal way to use these is with two plates and tubes between them, so the plates sandwich a panel or floor section.

PTF (Plasma Table Friendly) - This means that the component is designed with little to no bends, mostly or all flat plate. This makes the cutting and assembly very easy for anyone with a plasma table. Specific steps are required (follow the WPO) to ensure the strength is kept with this component.

***This product is a Digital Asset. You are purchasing the cutting files (DXF) or Solid (CAD) files for this component so that you can have these plates cut and bent (press) from a CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet machine.***

Frequently Asked Questions

What thickness should I cut these from and what size bolts do they take?

Cut them from .25" thick material and run 5/8" bolts for the mounting plates. That's what they're designed around.

How are these meant to mount up to my cage tubes and the floor?

Best way is to run two plates with the tube between them so they sandwich a panel or floor section. Just make sure you follow the WPO so you keep the strength when you weld it up.

Can I run these on my plasma table or do they need bending?

Yep, these are PTF (Plasma Table Friendly) — basically all flat plate with little to no bends, so they're easy to cut and assemble on a plasma table. You're getting the DXF/CAD files to have cut on your plasma, laser, or waterjet.

How do I get the 2" TUBE OVAL CAGE MOUNT PLATE (CUTOUT) after I buy it?

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
