These plates are designed for use in fabricating roll cages in various project vehicles, ideally you cut them from .25” thick material and use 5/8” bolts for the mounting plates. The ideal way to use these is with two plates and tubes between them, so the plates sandwich a panel or floor section.

PTF (Plasma Table Friendly) - This means that the component is designed with little to no bends, mostly or all flat plate. This makes the cutting and assembly very easy for anyone with a plasma table. Specific steps are required (follow the WPO) to ensure the strength is kept with this component.

***This product is a Digital Asset. You are purchasing the cutting files (DXF) or Solid (CAD) files for this component so that you can have these plates cut and bent (press) from a CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet machine.***

Frequently Asked Questions

What thickness should I cut these cage mount plates from and what size bolts do they take?

Cut them from .25" thick material and run 5/8" bolts for mounting. That's the ideal setup these were designed around.

Do these need bending or can I just run them flat off my plasma table?

These are flat plate (PTF - Plasma Table Friendly), so no bends - they cut clean off a plasma, laser, or waterjet. Just follow the WPO steps to keep the strength right when you assemble.

How are these meant to mount up to a floor or panel in my build?

The ideal way is to use two plates with tube between them so they sandwich a panel or floor section. That gives you a solid mounting point for your cage tubing.

How do I get the 2" TUBE SQUARE CAGE MOUNT PLATE (CUTOUT) after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 2" TUBE SQUARE CAGE MOUNT PLATE (CUTOUT) cost?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
