These plates are designed for use in fabricating roll cages in various project vehicles, ideally you cut them from .25” thick material and use 5/8” bolts for the mounting plates. The ideal way to use these is with two plates and tubes between them, so the plates sandwich a panel or floor section.

PTF (Plasma Table Friendly) - This means that the component is designed with little to no bends, mostly or all flat plate. This makes the cutting and assembly very easy for anyone with a plasma table. Specific steps are required (follow the WPO) to ensure the strength is kept with this component.

***This product is a Digital Asset. You are purchasing the cutting files (DXF) or Solid (CAD) files for this component so that you can have these plates cut and bent (press) from a CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet machine.***

Frequently Asked Questions

What thickness should I cut these cage mount plates from, and what size bolts do they take?

Cut them from .25" thick material and run 5/8" bolts for the mounting. That's what they're designed around.

How are these meant to install in my cage build?

Best way is to run two plates with your tube between them so they sandwich a panel or floor section. Just follow the WPO steps so you keep the strength when you weld it up.

Are these flat plate or do I need to bend them after cutting?

These are PTF (Plasma Table Friendly), so they're mostly or all flat plate with little to no bends — easy to run on your plasma table and assemble. You're getting the DXF/CAD files to have them cut on a plasma, laser, or waterjet.
