These are designed to be cut from 4130 and TIG welded together. The DXF doesn't lock you to one thickness, but if you want a specific spec for your build shoot us an email and we'll point you the right way or connect you with the designer.

Do these arms need to be bent or are they flat plate weldments?

These are plate parts meant to be cut and then pressed/bent, then TIG welded together into the finished arm. You'll want a press or a shop that can bend them — email us and we can recommend someone to cut and bend if you don't have the setup.
