Frequently Asked Questions

Are these flat plate or do I need a press to bend them before I weld them up?

These are plasma table friendly, so it's all flat plate with no/minimal bends — easy to cut and assemble on your own plasma table. Just make sure you follow the WPO (weld procedure) steps so you keep the strength in the build.

What track width is this beam setup designed for, and will it work for a narrower fullsize?

This one's designed for a fullsize track width of 88 inches and up, so it's meant for the big fullsize trucks. If you're running something narrower, email us and we'll see if another beam file fits your build better.

What am I actually getting when I buy this — files or a physical part?

You're buying the DXF cut files for the beam plates, not a physical part. Download them, run them on your CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, then assemble and weld per the WPO. Need a shop to cut them? Shoot us an email and we'll point you to one.

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
