Frequently Asked Questions

Will this truss fit my Currie F9 if it's not the 4" housing, or is it only for the 4-inch?

This one's designed specifically for the 4" Currie F9 and is set up to center on the center section platework. If you're running a different F9 housing diameter, shoot us an email and we'll see if we've got a file that matches your setup.

Can I run these files on my plasma table or do they really need a laser?

They're designed for laser cutting and CNC bending so that's the cleanest way to do it, but you can totally cut them on a plasma table if that's what you've got. Just know it's not exactly plasma-friendly, so expect to do a little cleanup.

Are the bump stop pads included or do I need to buy those separately?

The bump stop pads are included right in this cut pack. They're set up so you can place them at different widths to match whatever your build needs.

How do I get the 4" Currie F9 Rear Truss and Bump Stop Pads after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 4" Currie F9 Rear Truss and Bump Stop Pads cost?

The 4" Currie F9 Rear Truss and Bump Stop Pads is $18.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
