Frequently Asked Questions

Are these cut to fit the 4" ROCK Race housing or do I have to fab the fitment myself?

These files are designed specifically for the 4" ROCK Race fab housing (604-JEH-133), so the truss plates are made to match that housing. If you're running a different housing, shoot us an email and we'll see if we've got a file that fits your build.

Do any of these plates need to be bent or are they all flat cuts?

Some of the plates in this truss assembly are designed to be press bent, so you'll want a shop with a press brake to form them. If you don't have one, email us and we can recommend a shop to cut and bend them for you.

What exactly do I get when I buy this, an actual part or just the files?

This is a digital download, so you're getting the DXF cutting files for the full back truss assembly. You take those and run them on your plasma, laser, or waterjet, then bend and weld everything onto your housing.

How do I get the Full Back Truss for 4″ Rock Race Fab Housing after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the Full Back Truss for 4″ Rock Race Fab Housing cost?

The Full Back Truss for 4″ Rock Race Fab Housing is $12.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
