Frequently Asked Questions

Are these set up for 1.25 rod ends, or do I need to change anything to run a different size?

They're designed for 1.25" rod ends with 2.76" wide spacers on 5/8" bolts, so if that's your hardware you're good to go. Running something different would mean modifying the files, so shoot us an email and we can point you to the right setup.

Will these bolt to the F9 or do I weld them onto the housing?

These are weld-on mounts made to sit on the Currie F9 housing center section. The DXF/CAD files give you the plates to cut and bend, then you weld them on for your build.

Do I get DXF files I can just run on my plasma table, and do these need bending?

Yep, you're buying the DXF cut files (CAD/solid files too) so you can have them cut on a plasma, laser, or waterjet. A few of the plates do need to be press bent after cutting, so plan on a press in your process — email us if you need a shop recommendation for the cut and bend.

How do I get the TALL Upper 4 Link Mounts for the Currie F9 Housing after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the TALL Upper 4 Link Mounts for the Currie F9 Housing cost?

The TALL Upper 4 Link Mounts for the Currie F9 Housing is $14.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
