Frequently Asked Questions

Are these notch guides sized for 1.75" tube, and what wall thickness do they work with?

Yep, these are made for 1.75" round tubing. The guide rides on the OD of the tube so wall thickness doesn't matter for the fit — it'll work whether you're running thin wall or thick wall as long as it's 1.75" round.

Is this an actual file I print myself, or does a part ship to me?

It's a digital download — you get the file to run on your own 3D printer. Nothing physical ships, so you can print as many guides as you need for your build.

Do these work for the 120-degree notch angle or is it adjustable?

This one's set up for the 5.5 / 120 spec in the file name, so it's dialed in for that notch angle on 1.75" tube. If you need a different angle or tube size, shoot us an email and we'll point you to the right file from the lineup.

How do I get the 105-JLF-001-1.75-5.5-120 after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 105-JLF-001-1.75-5.5-120 cost?

The 105-JLF-001-1.75-5.5-120 is $4.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
