Frequently Asked Questions

Are these flat DXF files or do they need bending after I cut them?

These come as DXF cut files so you can run them on your plasma, laser, or waterjet. We don't have bend specs listed for this one, so shoot us an email and we'll check with the designer at Tekk Consulting before you cut anything.

What thickness steel should I cut these from?

We don't have a material thickness called out for this part in the listing. Email us and we'll confirm with the shop that designed it so you're cutting from the right stock for your build.

How do I get the files after I pay, and can I run them straight on my table?

It's a digital download — once you pay you get the DXF files right away, no physical part ships. They're ready to drop onto your plasma, laser, or waterjet, and if you don't have a table we can recommend a shop to cut them for you.

How do I get the 101-JLF-102-14-50.6-40 after I buy it?

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
