Frequently Asked Questions

Are these DXF files ready to run on my plasma table as-is, or do I need to clean them up first?

These come as DXF cut files designed by a pro shop, so they're set up to drop onto your plasma, laser, or waterjet. As always, give them a quick look in your CAM software before you cut just to make sure your kerf and scale settle in right.

What thickness steel are these meant to be cut from?

We don't have the material spec listed on this one, so shoot us an email and we'll confirm what thickness the designer drew these for before you have them cut.

After I pay, how do I actually get the files?

It's a digital download — once your payment goes through you'll get the DXF files to download and send to whoever's cutting. Nothing physical ships, so you take the files straight to your table or to a cut shop.

How do I get the 101-JLF-102-12-31.3-50 after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 101-JLF-102-12-31.3-50 cost?

The 101-JLF-102-12-31.3-50 is $2.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
