Details about our build plans
- Originally drawn in either Sketchup or Solidworks
- Each file is saved as the original CAD and a DXF copy is exported
- All our bumpers were made the same way, 3/16" Body with 1/4" mounts, winch plates etc.
- Most of our full-size truck bumpers will take 3/4 of a sheet of 3/16" and a 1/4 sheet of 1/4" (+/-).
- Our fold and weld designs allow you to easily bend the panels by hand. It assures ease of assembly by placing each piece where it needs to go. We have found since adopting this type of design that our support questions have dropped dramatically.
- All of these designs have been built several times in house and sold to customers in both DIY and prebuilt forms. Proven designs that fit!
- We provide you with the assembly instructions for each kit. We do suggest always building on the vehicle to ensure proper gapping and fitment.
- All files are easily editable with your choice of CAD programs.
- End product can be resold all we ask is you please do not resell the files. We all have to make a living :-)
If you have an issue with something please let us know! mistakes can happen and if we have something wrong we would love the chance to know about and fix the issue.

Frequently Asked Questions
The files are designed for fabricated plate, but the description doesn't lock in a specific thickness for this one. Shoot us an email and we'll check with Blackwidowgear on what they spec'd so you cut it right the first time.
These are set up for the LR3/LR4 front, so both platforms are covered with this set. If you've got something else in the Land Rover lineup, email us and we'll see if there's a file that fits your build.
It's a front winch bumper design, so the winch provisions are part of the build files. Once you've got it cut and welded up, double-check your specific winch's bolt pattern fits before final assembly, and email us if you want us to confirm anything.

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.
Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
