Yep, these come as DXF cut files so you can drop them straight onto your CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet. If your machine or nesting software needs anything tweaked on your end, that's normal, but the files are designed by a pro fab shop and built to be cut as-is.

What do I actually get when I buy this, a physical part or just the files?

This is a digital download, so after payment you get the DXF cut files to download, not a physical part. From there you have them cut, do any bending or welding needed, and weld them into your build.

What thickness steel should I cut these from?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
