Frequently Asked Questions

Are these files ready to run on my plasma table or do I need to clean them up first?

These come as DXF cut files designed by Tekk Consulting Inc, so you can drop them straight onto a plasma, laser, or waterjet. If your table software needs any tweaks for kerf or lead-ins, that's a quick adjustment on your end.

What steel thickness should I cut these from?

We don't have the material spec listed on this one, so shoot us an email and we'll confirm what thickness these were drawn for before you cut them. We'd rather get you the right answer than have you waste a sheet.

Do I get the files right after I pay or does something ship?

Everything here is a digital download — nothing physical ships. Once your payment clears you'll get the DXF files to have cut at your shop or run on your own table.

How do I get the 101-JLF-102-14-37.8-40 after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 101-JLF-102-14-37.8-40 cost?

The 101-JLF-102-14-37.8-40 is $2.00.

Who designs the 101-JLF-102-14-37.8-40?

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
