Frequently Asked Questions

Are these weld-in cut files or do they bolt on?

These are DXF cut files for fabrication, so plan on welding them into your build after cutting. If you've got questions about how they go together, shoot us an email and we'll point you in the right direction.

What thickness steel should I run these on my plasma table?

The file gives you the cut geometry, but material thickness depends on your build and where the part lives in the chassis. Email us and we can connect you with the designer, Tekk Consulting, to confirm what they spec'd these for.

What do I actually get after I pay — just the DXF?

Yep, this is a digital download — you get the DXF cut file emailed to you, no physical part ships. From there you can run it on your plasma, laser, or waterjet, and we can recommend a shop to cut them if you don't have a table.

How do I get the 101-JLF-101-14-31.8 after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 101-JLF-101-14-31.8 cost?

The 101-JLF-101-14-31.8 is $2.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
