Is this notch guide sized for 1.5" round tube or do I need to match the wall thickness too?

This guide is set up for 1.5" round tubing, so as long as your tube OD is 1.5" you're good. The wall thickness doesn't really matter for the guide itself since it wraps the outside of the tube to mark your notch line.

Does this download give me a DXF to cut, or is it a 3D print file?

These potato chip notch guides are 3D printed parts, so you'll get the file to run on your printer rather than a DXF for the plasma table. Print it, slip it over your tube, and trace your cope/notch line.

Will this work for a different tube diameter if my chassis isn't 1.5"?

This one's made specifically for 1.5" round tube and won't fit other sizes correctly. We've got guides built for other diameters in the same category, so shoot us an email and we'll point you to the right file for your build.
