Frequently Asked Questions

Are these weld-in cut files or do they bolt on?

These are DXF cut files for fabrication, so once you have them cut they're meant to be welded into your build. If you've got a specific question on how this one goes together, shoot us an email and we'll point you the right way.

What thickness steel should I run these on my plasma table?

The file is laid out flat so you can cut it on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, but the material spec isn't listed here. Email us and we'll confirm what thickness the designer set this up for before you cut.

Do I get the actual DXF after I pay, or does a part ship out?

Nothing physical ships — this is a digital download, so after payment you get the DXF cut file to take to your table or have cut at a shop. If you need a shop to cut and bend it, email us and we'll recommend one.

How do I get the 101-JLF-102-6-12.5-40 after I buy it?

These are digital — soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. Nothing physical ships.

How much does the 101-JLF-102-6-12.5-40 cost?

The 101-JLF-102-6-12.5-40 is $2.00.

Can you point me to a shop to get these cut and bent?

Yeah — if you don't have your own CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet, shoot us an email and we'll send over a few shops that can cut (and press/bend) the parts so you can weld them up.

How do I get the files, and what do I do with them?

Soon as your payment goes through you get a download link for the DXF cut files. You (or a shop) cut them from steel on a plasma, laser, or waterjet, bend whatever needs it, then weld them into your build. Nothing physical ships.

Do I need to know how to weld and fab to use these?

Yep — these are cut files for DIY and pro fabrication. A lot of the parts are "plasma table friendly" (flat plate, no bends) to make cutting and assembly easier, but you'll need to cut and weld them in yourself, or have a shop handle it.
